Bruce S. Rosenblatt & Associates

The original company, M. Rosenblatt & Son, Inc. (MR&S) was established in 1947 and was one of the largest, full service naval architectural and marine engineering firms in the United States. In March 2008 Mr. Bruce S. Rosenblatt the son and grandson of the original founders, purchased the Oakland office of MR&S from AMSEC LLC and re-established the company under the name Bruce S. Rosenblatt and Associates LLC, (BSR). Following the acquisition of the Oakland office, BSR opened offices in Arlington VA and in Newport News VA staffed with former MR&S employees and new recruits. With offices located on the East and West coasts, BSR has provided design and engineering support to commercial shipyards, ship owners and operators, the U.S. Navy (USN), the Military Sealift Command (MSC), the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), state and city governments, and foreign countries. The professional staff (currently 40 and growing) includes licensed Professional Engineers (PE), graduates (MS, BS) in various engineering disciplines, experienced marine designers and CAD (AutoCAD and Shipconstructor) modelers. The majority of BSR’s design and engineering personnel were long time employees of MR&S. The tradition of excellence continues.
