Taronn Sullivan

Lead EPACS Engineer at BruckEdwards

Taronn Sullivan has a decade of experience in the security systems industry. In 2008, they were a Lab Assistant at ITT Technical Institute, where they assisted the campus Systems Support Technician with the ISA Server, Cat5e termination, and Reimaging of campus computers. Taronn also maintained electronic measurement equipment in the laboratory and provided tutoring in courses ET 145 AC Electronics and ET 115 DC Electronics to students.

In 2010, Sullivan began working for Aerotek as a DES Operator for DDI. Later that year, they were hired by M.C. Dean, Inc. as an Electronics Security Technician I, where they were responsible for interpreting electrical blueprints, running cables or fiber per installation design plans, pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cable, and testing continuity of conductors. Taronn also provided preventive maintenance and servicing of the security systems on RAF Air Force bases in the United Kingdom.

In 2013, Sullivan worked for Open Systems Technologies as a Security Installation Technician and for The Maasai Group as a Service Specialist. Taronn then joined Insight Global as a Security Systems Installation Technician.

In 2014, Sullivan began working for PAE as a Systems Installation & Integration Technician, where they provided installation of electronic security systems and ensured various networking technologies and devices were properly integrated to provide twenty-four hour monitoring of the clients' global electronic security systems. Taronn also collaborated with Design Engineers while reviewing and making recommendations to projects' installation design plans.

In 2017, Sullivan returned to M.C. Dean, Inc. as a System Administrator, where they administered PACS programming, ensuring associated workstation and servers were properly integrated to provide maximum availability of clients' enterprise electronic security systems. Taronn also performed database backups on master and regional servers in concurrence with monthly Windows Patches, and managed system issues using a propriety ticketing system to ensure 100% accountability of resolved issues.

In 2018, Sullivan joined Xator Corporation as a Design Engineer - Physical Security Systems, where they served as the Lead biometrics System Engineer integrating incipient biometric technology with the customer's Physical Access Control Systems. Taronn also collaborated with fellow integration engineers, modernizing the customer's sites from an Analog CCTV to an IP Based CCTV system.

In 2020, Sullivan began working for BruckEdwards, Inc. as a Lead EPACS Engineer, where they managed the customer's Enterprise Physical Access Control System, ensuring maximum availability by implementing PACS policies and procedures that allowed for team cohesiveness. Taronn also spearheaded an initiative that facilitated the deployment of the customer's EPACS ahead of schedule, and re-designed and modernized the event monitoring layout for all security guards' post. Taronn also acted as an EPACS Engineer, designing and implementing HSPD-12 and FICAM compliant Enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (EPACS) for the customer sites. Additionally, they provided risk and security assessment detailing recommended upgrades to mitigate or eliminate vulnerabilities discovered with the Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, or the IP Video Surveillance Systems, and composed standard operating procedure, (SOP) documenting recommended processes for completing technical system tasks.

Taronn Sullivan's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute from 2007 to 2010. Taronn also holds certifications from American Dynamics, Tyco, Bosch Security Systems, Inc., AMAG Technology, Secure Technology Alliance, CompTIA, and BICSI, which they obtained between 2016 and 2021.
