Leo Cardozo

Leo Cardozo is currently serving as the Tennis Analytics Chair at Bruin Sports Analytics, leading a team to produce match summaries and scouting reports for the UCLA tennis team. With experience as a Data Scientist at The Data Science Union at UCLA and a Data Science Intern at John Deere, Leo has developed skills in data cleaning, machine learning, and automation techniques. Previous roles include Data Management Intern at 6–4–3 Charts and Data Journalist positions at both DataRes and Daily Bruin, where Leo utilized statistical methods and data visualization to analyze various topics. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics at UCLA, Leo’s analytical abilities and leadership experience position them as a valuable asset in the field of data analytics.
