Michael Ritch has extensive experience in law enforcement and sales. Currently serving as a Shift Supervisor and Deputy/Telecommunicator at Brunswick County Sheriff's Office since January 2017, Michael has held various roles including General Instructor at a Law Enforcement Agency since January 2019 and Sergeant at Brunswick County Detention Center from October 2017 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes positions in sales at Bayside Electric Supply Co Inc. and Quality Lighting Solutions, as well as event management for Coastal Carolina University. Michael began a career in public safety as a 911 Telecommunicator for Randolph County Emergency Services and has a background in crowd management and inside sales. Education includes a high school diploma from Asheboro High School and certifications in Basic Law Enforcement Training from Brunswick Community College.
