Charles Seyffer

Charles Seyffer is an experienced educator and volunteer who has been a substitute teacher with the Brunswick School Department since September 2019. With a rich background in teaching, including a tenure as Athletic Director and Middle School English and History teacher at Grymes Memorial School from 2004 to 2012, Seyffer has almost forty years of experience in various educational roles across private and public schools in Massachusetts, Maine, and Virginia. In addition to teaching, Seyffer has contributed as a volunteer for organizations such as The Telling Room and the Maine Island Trail Association and has a strong commitment to writing and community service. Educational qualifications include a BA in English from Colgate University and further studies in special education and teaching at the University of Maine, among other institutions.
