David Lyssens

Senior Director Finance & Controlling at Brussels Airlines

David Lyssens has a significant amount of experience in the aviation industry. David began their career in 2000 as a Manager of Statistics & Analysis at the Association of European Airlines. In 2004, they joined Brussels Airlines where they held various positions including Alliance Manager and Vice President of Planning & Alliances. David then moved on to become the Vice President of Network & Transversal Planning and later the Vice President of Planning. In 2018, they became the Vice President of Network Planning & Alliances. From 2012 to 2021, they also served as the VP of Network & Transversal Planning and the Senior Director of Network & Planning. In 2019, they briefly worked at Eurowings as the Head of EW Network Management Long-haul & Partner Management. In October 2021, they assumed the position of Senior Director of Finance & Controlling at Brussels Airlines.

David Lyssens obtained a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering with a focus on Technology Management and Finance from the University of Antwerp, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
