Samuel Varghese

Samuel Varghese has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Samuel currently holds the position of VP of Product Management & Strategic Initiatives at Bruviti since November 2022. Prior to that, Samuel worked at Blue Iris Software as part of the Customer Success team from October 2020 to February 2023. Samuel'smain responsibility was to fix customer success and reduce ticket volumes.

Before their time at Blue Iris Software, Samuel held the position of Head of Sales / Business Development at Smart Home Sentry from August 2018 to October 2020. Samuel played a crucial role in attaining customers and educating the market for this video analytics startup.

From June 2012 to January 2018, Samuel worked at PGi as a Global Account Manager for large enterprise accounts such as Apple, VMWare, and Juniper. Samuel had a total revenue responsibility of approximately $17 million and consistently achieved yearly quota and revenue growth targets.

Prior to their time at PGi, Samuel was employed at Cisco Systems as a Sales / Sales Engineer from December 2010 to June 2012. Samuel was responsible for presenting the Entitlement Framework solution to Cisco business units and played a key role in streamlining the deal flow.

Samuel also gained experience as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at 2Wire, where they were responsible for all facets of product marketing for the company's Enterprise Software. Samuel held this role from April 2010 to October 2010.

Before that, they worked at Sun Microsystems as a Product Marketing Manager in the Healthcare Vertical for their Enterprise Middleware Software from August 2008 to February 2010. Samuel provided sales support and created sales collateral for this role.

Earlier in their career, Samuel worked at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants as a Senior Associate from August 2006 to March 2008. Samuel implemented workflow automation software and led the migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook for a consulting firm during this time.

Samuel's career began with a summer internship at Infosys in 2005, where they conducted strategic investigations into Agile Programming and developed frameworks for determining the ROI of IT initiatives. Additionally, they worked as an 8th-grade mathematics teacher at Teach for America from 2002 to 2004, achieving above-average student pass rates and receiving a prestigious award for their contributions.

Samuel holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. Before pursuing their MBA, Samuel earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
