Alyse Beauchemin has a diverse and impressive work experience. Alyse started their career as the Head Lifeguard at Button Bay State Park in 2015, where they focused on ensuring the safety of pool patrons and maintaining the pool facility. Alyse then worked as the Global Studies Student Affairs and Marketing Coordinator at Bryant University, where they managed the program's social media accounts, organized events, and promoted student interest. In 2020, Alyse interned at the State of Rhode Island as a Policy Intern, where they researched and drafted a policy proposal on reallocating funds from the police budget. Alyse also worked as a Professor's Research Assistant at Bryant University, assisting a Global Studies professor with research on the history of music in Africa. Additionally, Alyse interned at NASA in various roles, including the NASA Planetary Defense Coordination Office and the Office of International and Interagency Relations. Alyse'swork at NASA involved policy analysis, researching the history of the NASA Planetary Astronomy Program, and contributing to significant developments in American planetary astronomy. Currently, Alyse works as a Space Policy Analyst at BryceTech.
Alyse Beauchemin began their education in 2017 at Bryant University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies with a concentration in Global Politics. Alyse also studied History and completed a minor in Management. In 2020, they had the opportunity to further their education at the IAU Institute for American Universities, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies and History. Currently, Alyse is enrolled at the Elliott School of International Affairs, where they are working towards a Master of Arts degree with a concentration in Space Policy and International Science and Technology Policy.
