Erich K. Lehnert has a strong background in program management and consulting, particularly in the fields of public health, national security, science and technology. Erich K. started their career in 2013 at Patricio Enterprises, Inc. as an Executive Officer/Program Analyst, where they managed program requirements and provided consultation to the Pharmaceutical Manager. Erich K. then moved on to Cecil College in 2014, where they served as an Adjunct Professor for Chemistry, developing and managing syllabus materials for Organic Chemistry II.
In 2015, Lehnert joined Heartland Consulting as a Medical CBRN/Medical Program Analyst/Subject Matter Expert, where they provided program management consultation and assistance to the U.S. Air Force. Erich K. also worked as a Technical Assistance Advocate (TAA) at BRTRC Federal Solutions, providing technical assistance to small businesses involved in army research and development projects.
Lehnert then joined Heartland Consulting again in 2018 as a Medical Program Analyst, managing program requirements for the U.S. Air Force. Erich K. later joined The Tauri Group as a Physical Scientist/Technical Program Manager/Subject Matter Expert, where they acted as a medicinal chemistry and regulatory expert for the Advanced and Emerging Threats Division.
In 2019, Lehnert joined LMI as a Sr. Consultant, supporting the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate in the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Program. Erich K. also worked as an Adjunct Professor at both Frederick Community College and Mount St. Mary's University.
Most recently, Lehnert is currently serving as a Program Manager at BryceTech, where they are responsible for improving the divisional operations and providing support to the growing staff in BryceTech's Public Health Market.
Erich K. Lehnert completed their education in the field of chemistry. Erich K. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organic Chemistry from McDaniel College, which they attended from 1979 to 1983. Later, they pursued further studies at the University of Virginia, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy from 1983 to 1989.
In addition to their academic achievements, Erich K. Lehnert has obtained various certifications related to project management and systems planning. Erich K. completed Project Management Level II and Systems, Planning, Research, Development & Engineering, Level II from the Defense Acquisition University in September 2001. Furthermore, they acquired the Program Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI - Program Management Institute in December 2012.
