Swati Patel

Swati Patel has a diverse range of work experience. Swati currently works as a Space Technology Analyst at BryceTech, starting in March 2021. Previously, they worked at KBR, Inc. as a Technical Professional Associate, Engineering Safety from June 2020 to April 2021, where they supported safety engineering for the Human Landing System and Gateway programs. Prior to that, they were a Project Specialist at Greater Houston Partnership from October 2019 to June 2020, conducting market research and assisting with event coordination. Swati also gained experience as an Active Thermal Control Systems Engineer Intern at Boeing from May 2017 to May 2019, ensuring the safety and viability of the International Space Station. Additionally, they have held roles as a Science Policy Student Intern at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy, a Graduate Assistant at Rice University, an Assistant Center Director at C2 Education, and a Data Entry Technician at Jerich International.

Swati Patel completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Astrophysics from Rutgers University, attending from 2010 to 2014. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Space Studies from Rice University's Weis School of Natural Sciences, from 2016 to 2018. Swati then furthered their education at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, attending from 2017 to 2019.
