Adam Poliak is an accomplished academic and researcher in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Data Science, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Bryn Mawr College since 2022. Previously, Adam held the position of Roman Family Faculty Fellow at Barnard College, where courses in Data Science and NLP were developed and taught to over 100 students, alongside leading an interdisciplinary research group focused on NLP. Adam's research experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the Center for Language & Speech Processing, where significant work was done in Natural Language Understanding and related fields. Additional experience includes various internships in machine learning and software engineering at organizations such as Bloomberg LP, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and MyFitnessPal. Adam earned a Ph.D., Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, completing the Ph.D. in July 2020.
