Katie Turek

Katie Turek currently serves as the Associate Director of Experiential Education at Bryn Mawr College, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Turek was an Adjunct Faculty Member at The Philadelphia Center, where teaching included the development and instruction of the TPC394: Experiential Learning & Field Placement Course. Prior roles include Director of Career Engagement at Ursinus College and Associate Director of the Center for Advocacy, Responsibility, and Engagement. Turek also worked as a Community Resource Center Coordinator/AmeriCorps VISTA at LIFT-Philadelphia and held a Graduate Assistant position at the University of Pennsylvania's Civic House. Early experience at The Ohio State University included roles as a Telecounselor and Front Desk Attendant in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and First Year Experience. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with minors in Public Policy and German from The Ohio State University.
