Meredith Mitchell McAloon has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Meredith Mitchell started their career at The Kimberton Waldorf School as a Camp Counselor in 2006. In 2009, they worked as a Reunion Ambassador at Smith College and also served as an Organizational Consultant at the Lewis Leadership Program. Meredith Mitchell then interned and worked as a Receptionist at The Grand Opera House in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they held roles at The Grand Opera House, including Donor Relations Manager and later Director of Development. In 2010, they also acted in The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre as Nym/Orleans. Meredith Mitchell continued their acting career in 2011 at the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival & Philly Fringe as Virgilia. In 2013, they acted as Ashley at the Media Theatre. In 2017, Meredith joined Bryn Mawr College as the Director of Alumnae/i Relations and Development Marketing and Communications, where they oversee various marketing and communications efforts. Meredith Mitchell was previously a Senior Associate Director of Bryn Mawr Fund Marketing.
Meredith Mitchell McAloon completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre and Psychology from Smith College between 2006 and 2010. In 2020-2021, they pursued a Certificate Program in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. Prior to their college education, they obtained their General Education Development (GED) degree in General Studies from Kimberton Waldorf School, which they attended from 2002 to 2006.
