John Tompane is the Co-Founder and Chairman at Bryte. John has over fifteen years of experience in strategic business development and management.
Prior to Bryte, John was the Principal at Strategic Business Development, a consulting firm that specializes in start-up and turnaround management. John has also served in various executive and advisory roles, including Interim CEO, GM, Board/Advisory Member, and VP of Marketing.
Before Strategic Business Development, John was the Co-Founder and SVP of Operations/Marketing at D2M Inc./n-Lighten Technologies Inc., where they were responsible for incubating, raising capital, and launching n-Lighten, a Silicon Valley/Shanghai start-up that develops and markets chip-based digital light technologies used in High Definition Television and digital film projection.
At D2M Inc./n-Lighten Technologies Inc., John successfully recruited top engineering talent, international investors, and corporate partners. John also raised over $4M dollars in two rounds of funding, and moved operations to Shanghai.
Before incubating n-Lighten out of D2M, John managed operations and marketing of D2M Inc., negotiated contracts, managed the finance team, increased both revenue and profits, and significantly improved the company's cash position. John also revamped the corporate identity and developed new business opportunities, including proposals with U.S. Special Operations Command to utilize digital light technology in lethal gas and chemical weapons detection. In addition, John developed the D2M Launch Fund, designed to combine the technology experience of D2M with venture capital for company formation.
John's experience and success in strategic business development and management make him a valuable asset to Bryte. Under their leadership, Bryte has become a leading provider of data analysis solutions that help organizations make better decisions faster.
