Dr. Thomas Buchholz

Dr. Thomas Buchholz is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and patent law, currently serving as Chief Digital Patent Counsel at BSH Home Appliances Group since April 2015. Dr. Buchholz has held key positions including Senior Patent Counsel at DRÄXLMAIER Group, focusing on automotive electronics and high-voltage onboard networks, and Patent Counsel at Continental, where responsibilities included tire pressure measurement systems and coordination of patent litigation. In earlier roles as a Patent Attorney at Meissner Bolte and a Trainee at Beetz & Partner, Dr. Buchholz developed a strong foundation in patent law with a focus on technology-related fields.
