Erik de Waal

Erik de Waal has extensive experience in auditing, compliance, risk management, and transportation. Currently, Erik serves as a Lead Auditor for ISO standards and as a Security Officer at BSI Group The Netherlands since May 2010. In addition to these roles, Erik has held positions as Compliance & Risk Executive, Local ICT Coordinator, and Internal Assessor. Prior to BSI, Erik owned de Waal IT Services, providing IT solutions from January 2011 to April 2013. Erik's background includes roles in transport planning with Kees Verheul and D.J. Middelkoop Transport, as well as experience as an international driver specializing in flower bulb transportation. Erik holds an MBO degree from LOI and a VMBO degree in Mechanical Technology from Herbert Vissers College.
