Maria-Luminita Birza is an experienced marketing professional with over a decade of leadership roles at BSI, currently serving as the Interim EMEA Marketing Director and previously as the IMETA Marketing Director. In these positions, Maria-Luminita has driven a transformation in marketing practices, aligning client needs with strategic initiatives to promote sustainability across the IMETA region. Prior roles include managing the marketing function for the MEA & Türkiye offices and establishing marketing organizations in the UAE, Qatar, and South Africa. Earlier career experiences at Fleming included roles such as Marketing Manager and International Sales Executive. Maria-Luminita holds an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Middlesex University Dubai and an MBA from the University of Atlanta.
