Maryam Imani, PhD is currently the Digital Engagement Lead for SMART standards at BSI, where Maryam serves as the liaison manager for internal and external engagement on the digital standards project. With previous experience at Deloitte Consulting and F. Iniciativas as an R&D Engineer and Consultant, Maryam's expertise in Global Investment and Innovation Incentives is matched with their background as a Biomedical Engineer at Smith & Nephew. Maryam's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Cartilage Changes in Shoulder Hemiarthroplasty from Imperial College London, an MRes in Biomedicine and Bioengineering in Osteoarthritis, and a Master of Engineering in Medical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
