Riccardo Benvenuti

Riccardo Benvenuti has extensive experience in project management and research in various nonprofit organizations and government institutions. Riccardo has held roles such as Lead Project Manager at BSI, where they were responsible for managing donor-funded international projects and coordinating technical assistance missions. Prior to that, they worked as a Programme Officer at ACTION for Food Reserves, overseeing food security projects and developing advocacy strategies. Riccardo also worked at Partners for Democratic Change as a Research Consultant and Project Assistant, handling financial management and supporting EC funding activities. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Researcher at Human Rights Without Frontiers International, focusing on minorities and human rights in the Middle East, and as a Trainee at the European Parliament's Election Observation Unit. Riccardo began their career as an Intern at the Italian Embassy in Cairo, where they monitored political events and represented the embassy at various meetings and events.

Riccardo Benvenuti attended UC Irvine as a visitor student from 2009 to 2010, where they studied International Relations and Affairs. Riccardo also studied Political Science and Government as a visitor student at the University of Reading from 2007 to 2008. Riccardo obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Università degli Studi di Padova from 2009 to 2011, after completing a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the same institution from 2005 to 2008.
