Snehee Chaplot

Snehee Chaplot has a diverse range of work experiences in the food industry. In 2015, they founded and served as the CEO of The Food Shop. Snehee also worked as a Food Safety Consultant at Junglee Holdings LLC. In 2018, Snehee co-founded My Food Crew and worked as the COO. Snehee was also a Food Safety Manager at My Fit Foods in 2014. Snehee has expertise in food safety and product development, as demonstrated by their role as a Food Safety & Product Development Specialist at Catapult Commercialization Services starting in 2020. Snehee has held the position of Registered SQF Lead Auditor at BSI since 2021. Snehee has a strong background in food safety, as seen from their previous roles as a Registered SQF Lead Auditor at DNV GL and NSF International. Snehee has also worked at Nestle as a Food Safety Specialist, and at The Kraft Heinz Company as a Quality Systems Supervisor. Overall, Snehee has extensive experience in food safety management, quality control, and product development in the food industry.

Snehee Chaplot holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Food Science from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology between 2003 and 2007. Snehee received their High School Diploma from The Indian School, Bahrain in 2003. Snehee Chaplot has also acquired several additional certifications, including PCQI Professional from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) in 2019, SQF Lead Auditor from the SQF Institute in 2014, DMAIC / Six Sigma - White Belt from Nestle in 2012, Internal Auditing for Integrated Management Systems for ISO Standards 9001, 14001, 22000 and OHSAS 18001 from ICRA in 2012, Advanced HACCP Training from the International HACCP Alliance in 2009, and Basic HACCP Training from the University of Minnesota Beef Extension in 2009.
