Philip Orr

Philip Orr is an accomplished leader in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in delivery and operations management. Currently serving as Head of Managed Delivery at BT since April 2019, Philip oversees functions including order management and project coordination. Previously, as General Manager for Desk Based Operations at BT Wholesale, Philip managed a 24-hour network operation and support teams. Philip's career at Openreach included roles such as General Manager for Network Delivery Controls, where oversight of network activities and service delivery occurred, as well as Programme Director for Network Investment Transformation, where Philip led organizational redesign. Philip's earlier experience at BT Wholesale involved leading a significant team in network construction across Northern England and Scotland, including response efforts during a major incident. Philip holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
