Paol Hergert

Paol Hergert currently holds the position of Chef vom Dienst at BTC-ECHO since January 2021. Prior to this role, Paol worked as a Redakteur at Business Insider Deutschland from January to December 2020 and completed a Volontariat at Axel Springer Akademie during the same period. Experience also includes editorial positions at Computer Bild and teltarif.de Onlineverlag GmbH in 2017. An internship as a Cultural Program Intern was undertaken at Deutsches Haus at NYU in 2016, where responsibilities included event management and social media. Earlier experience as a Medic with the Bundeswehr was gained from June 2009 to March 2010. Educational achievements include a Master’s Degree in North American Studies from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Groningen, alongside studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
