Max Sprick

Max Sprick currently serves as Chef vom Dienst at NZZ Neue Zürcher Zeitung since February 2023. Prior to this role, Max worked as a Redakteur at Hessischer Rundfunk from June 2021 to February 2023 and as a Dozent at Hochschule Darmstadt, leading text workshops in the Bachelor program for Online Journalism between April 2021 and February 2023. Max's extensive experience includes positions as a Redakteur at Süddeutsche Zeitung (October 2015 - May 2021), Beitragsredakteur at KG Media Factory GmbH (August 2013 - August 2020), and various freelance writing roles from July 2009 to July 2017, contributing to notable publications such as SZ-Magazin, GQ, and Playboy. Additionally, Max gained experience as a Sportreporter at Wiesbadener Kurier (July 2009 - September 2015) and completed internships at multiple renowned magazines. Max holds a Bachelor of Arts in Publizistik & Kommunikationswissenschaft from the University of Vienna and completed a journalistic traineeship at Deutsche Journalistenschule.
