Ruby King

Ruby King has extensive experience in the software engineering, product design, and event coordination industries. In 2021, they began their role as Senior Growth Engineer at bttn, where they are responsible for executing experiments to accelerate the business towards its strategic goals. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineer at VUniverse in 2020, a Software Engineering Fellow at General Assembly in 2019, an Event Coordinator at The Greenhouse in 2017, an Assistant Director at Plaster City Productions in 2014, and a BRIDGES Fellow at Bay Area Video Coalition in 2014.

Ruby King attended the San Francisco Art Institute from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. In 2019, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Computer Software Engineering from General Assembly. Ruby is also a BRIDGES Fellow at the Bay Area Video Coalition, which they have been since 2014.
