Avi Gupta

Avi Gupta is the founder and CEO of Bubble Insurance. Prior to Bubble Insurance, Avi was a Product Strategy Consultant at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. from November 2019 to April 2020. In this role, they provided product strategy leadership on a home-grown, end-to-end, data/AI-powered SaaS platform that integrated consumer real estate mobile search with agent/broker CRM, marketing automation, transaction management and e-learning.

From March 2008 to November 2019, Avi was the CEO & Co-founder of SmartZip, which was acquired by Constellation Software. At SmartZip, Avi pioneered data/analytics-powered marketing automation SaaS for the U.S. real estate ecosystem and grew the company from idea to $25M ARR at peak, with 180 people across US and India. Avi also built patent-pending propensity scores to predict real estate transactions – for brokers, lenders, home services, etc. – and developed an all-in-one data-driven marketing automation platform that targeted online, offline, social and email advertising at best prospects.

In addition to their work at SmartZip, Avi also acquired & assimilated a reputation management SaaS company called Reach150 and successfully expanded go-to-market from agents to enterprises, growing to $3M ARR in 1.5 years. Avi managed enterprise sales & business development, winning deals with major real estate portals, brokers & lenders, and helped 100+ enterprise clients and thousands of real estate agents grow their business while saving marketing spend.

Avi Gupta attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they received a QuantumShift in Executive Education, sponsored by KPMG. Avi then went on to receive their Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan. Gupta also took coursework with Stanford Instructional Television Network at Stanford University in Computer Science. Avi received their MS in Electrical Eng. & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and their B.S. in Computer Science & Eng. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
