Dr. Werner Schnappauf

Dr. Werner Schnappauf is the CEO and Founder of Schnappauf Consulting since September 2018, focusing on tailored and sustainable solutions for clients. Holding the position of Senior Advisor at Bank of America and as a Lawyer and Partner at GvW Graf von Westphalen since December 2011, Dr. Schnappauf is also an active member of the Rat für Nachhaltige Entwicklung and serves as its Chair. At Bucerius Law School, Dr. Schnappauf is the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Research Center on Energy, Climate and Sustainability, as well as the Chairman of the Circle on Energy Law and Policy. Previous roles include membership on the Board of Trustees for Allianz Foundation and oversight positions at Allianz and KfW. Dr. Schnappauf's academic background includes a Staatsexamen in Law from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (1974-1979).
