Karl Israelsen

Karl Israelsen is an experienced legal professional and business leader, currently serving as Of Counsel at Buchalter since February 2022. As Managing Director of Blue Field Capital since January 2014, Karl oversees real estate private equity and proptech venture capital funds. Prior to these roles, Karl was the Managing Partner at Carman Lehnhof Israelsen LLP, specializing in corporate, securities, and business transactions. Additional experience includes ownership of Kane Garden Surfboards and associate positions at Stoel Rives LLP and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, focusing on corporate and securities law. Karl holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago, a Master of Public Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Utah State University.
