Sara Burke has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sara is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Buchan, a global architectural studio. Prior to this, Sara worked at Thomas Murray for several years, where they held various positions including Head of Finance, Business and Financial Controller, and Senior Accountant. Sara was responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and business development. Before joining Thomas Murray, Sara worked in temporary finance roles and served as the Finance and Administration Coordinator at the New Zealand Treasury. In 1997-2000, they attended The University of Waikato and obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies degree with a focus on Management Studies. In 2005-2006, they pursued a diploma in Project Management from IMNZ - Institute of Management New Zealand. In 2009-2010, Sara pursued a CIMA / CGMA degree from CIMA, which is the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant.
