Jan Appel

Jan Appel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jan most recently served as the Managing Director at BUCHEN-ICS GmbH. Prior to that, they held senior positions at bofrost for 14 years, including roles such as Senior Head of Procurement, Senior Head of Operations, and Senior Head of European Fleet Management. Jan also took a brief sabbatical in 2007 to explore new opportunities. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Plant Manager at a joint venture with Recticel and as a Plant Manager/Profit Center Manager at two leading waste management companies. Jan started their career as a Sales Engineer in the Gießerei industry.

Jan Appel has a degree in Process Engineering from Hochschule Niederrhein, earning the title of Dipl. Ing. (FH) / Bachelor. Jan also has a degree in Business Administration, specifically as a Technischer Betriebswirt IHK, from IHK. Additionally, they have completed their Abitur from Math. Nat. Gymnasium Mönchengladbach.
