Meghan Murphy currently serves as the Division Director for Shelter and Outreach Services at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa since April 2024 and is a Law Enforcement Chaplain in a volunteer capacity with the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Service in Sonoma County from July 2023. Meghan is also an Associate Professor of Human Services at Santa Rosa Junior College since January 2021. Prior roles include Training Specialist at Catholic Charities (December 2021 - August 2023), Adjunct Professor of Social Work at California State University, Long Beach (September 2014 - June 2022), Youth Housing Director at Community Support Network (October 2020 - December 2021), Deputy Director at Food For Thought (February 2019 - May 2020), and Program Director at Face to Face Sonoma County AIDS Network (July 2008 - February 2019). Earlier experience includes working as a Therapist for the Mendocino County Youth Project (2007 - 2008) and a Social Work Intern at Victor Community Support Services (2004 - 2006). Meghan holds a Master of Social Work from California State University, Chico and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Humboldt State University.
