Renee Reimer

Renee Reimer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Renee is currently serving as the Sr. Vice President and General Counsel at Buckner International since February 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Interim Vice President Human Resources at UT Health San Antonio from August 2017 to January 2018. From 2009 to 2017, Renee worked at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System as the Senior Vice President, Chief Risk & Legal Operations Officer, overseeing enterprise risk management and legal operations. Before that, they were the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Presbyterian Healthcare Services from 1999 to 2008. Renee began their career in law at various Texas and New Mexico law firms as a Partner/Shareholder and Associate, from 1983 to 1999.

Renee Reimer obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained several certifications including Healthcare Risk Management Certification (CPHRM) from the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM), Human Resource Certification, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and a license to practice law in Texas (Active) and New Mexico (Inactive) from the State Bar of Texas.
