Justin Gregan

Justin Gregan is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently employed at Buddi since March 2023. Previously, Justin worked as a Software Engineer at Garmin International from January 2017 to December 2019, contributing to the development of low-powered radar devices for cycling products aimed at enhancing cyclist safety. Early career roles included Junior Software Engineer at Garmin, as well as tutoring students in Physical Sciences, Information Technology, and Mathematics with the Penguin Tutoring Company and ZA Tutors. Justin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics from Nelson Mandela University, where participation in NMMU Racing involved designing and manufacturing student racing vehicles. Additionally, Justin represented NMMU in the CSIR’s Student Cluster Competition, achieving a top-ten finish. Early work experience includes managing a computer store and interning at Design South Africa.
