Matthew Cathey

Matthew Cathey has held various roles in the transportation industry throughout their career. Matthew is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Buddy Moore Trucking Inc. since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Operations Manager Dedicated Division at AAA Cooper Transportation from August 2019 to April 2021. From November 2016 to April 2019, they served as a Regional Sales Manager at Super Service LLC. Matthew also served as the Director of Team fleets & Dedicated Accounts at Transport America from December 2015 to November 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked at Transport America as a Field Operations Supervisor-Dedicated Services from June 2012 to the present, and as a Site Manager-Wise Alloys-Dedicated from December 2009 to June 2012. Before that, they worked as a Planner-Fleet Manager at Western Express from March 2004 to December 2009.

Matthew Cathey attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2000 to 2004. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Recording Industry-Business Management.
