Alex Stein

Alexander Stein is an experienced IT and cybersecurity professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Technical Operations Lead at Buddy since April 2022, Alexander also founded Bluetec LLC and fulfills the role of Chief Information Security Officer. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Lumber Liquidators and a Signal and Cyber Operations Officer in the Army National Guard. Additional roles have consisted of Network Engineer at Independent Container Line and Project Lead for Deskside Support at VCU Medical Center. Alexander began their career as IT Manager at Fuller Dentistry. Educational achievements include training at the Fort Gordon Cyber Center and Virginia Army National Guard Officer Candidate School, as well as a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
