Stefanos Kanellopoulos

Stefanos Kanellopoulos is currently a Computer Vision Engineer at Buddywise, a role they have held since 2021. Stefanos is also a volunteer Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena since 2021. In this role, they are helping people with visual impairment to easily use buses through computer vision. Stefanos is collaborating with Renew Senses LTD to develop technologies to assist people who are blind or with visual impairment in their experience of catching a bus. Stefanos'stasks include detecting whether a bus is arriving through real-time object recognition.

Stefanos Kanellopoulos has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, obtained between 2014 and 2019. Stefanos also has a Master of Science (MSc) in Robotics from the University of Bristol, obtained between 2019 and 2020. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications, including an Introduction to Machine Learning in Production from DeepLearning.AI in June 2021, Customising your models with TensorFlow 2 from Imperial College London in May 2021, Getting started with TensorFlow 2 from Imperial College London in May 2021, Machine Learning from Stanford University in January 2021, Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai in November 2020, and Power Python Summer School: Advanced Level from the University of Patras, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and T.E.I. of Ionian Islands in July 2018.
