Sebastian Mücke

Sebastian M. is a data scientist currently engaged with Blue Goji as part of the UC Berkeley Capstone program since September 2024. Previously, Sebastian held positions as a web scraper at Blue Sky Travel Search and as a backend developer and DevOps administrator for the Queues project at UC San Diego, where contributions included launching a student support website and enhancing server performance. With experience as a computer science tutor and instructional assistant at UC San Diego, Sebastian supported hundreds of students by facilitating learning in computer science topics and leading a Python class for high school students. Other notable experiences include an internship as a backend software developer at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, where development work for an educational game was undertaken, and tutoring mathematics and Spanish with Arbor Tutors. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UC San Diego.
