Lauri Ahlroth

Lauri Ahlroth is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in optimization and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer (Optimization) at REEN since January 2020, Lauri specializes in developing advanced optimization and routing components for waste collection scheduling. Prior to this role, Lauri worked as a Data Scientist at Valas Media from February 2017 to December 2019, where contributions included developing methodologies for mobile game user data processing and assessing monetization-retention strategies. From January 2013 to January 2017, Lauri served as an Optimization Algorithms Expert at Quintiq, focusing on the design and implementation of complex optimization algorithms for supply chain management. Lauri holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematics from Aalto University and a M.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
