Genna Shelnutt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2008, they worked at Rawle Murdy as a Copywriter, Assistant Account Executive, Content Developer, and Account Coordinator. During this time, they developed concepts and copy for various ads, marketing materials, and internal communications for clients in industries such as healthcare, tourism, and construction. Genna also managed marketing programs and provided support on various accounts.

In 2013, Genna began freelancing as a Copywriter and worked on various projects until 2017. Genna then joined Blackbaud as a Senior Copywriter and Editor, where they played a crucial role in writing and editing customer-facing communications while also assisting in creative concept development for campaigns. Genna also worked as an Associate Editor, contributing to a range of print and online materials.

In 2017, Genna moved to BGRM and held multiple roles over the years. Genna started as a Senior Copywriter before being promoted to Creative Director and eventually becoming the VP of Creative Talent. In these positions, they demonstrated their expertise in creative direction and talent management.

Currently, Genna is working as the Executive Creative Director at Buffalo Groupe, a role they assumed in 2022. Genna'sextensive experience and expertise in creative direction make their a valuable asset to the company.

Genna Shelnutt attended John McEachern High School from 2001 to 2004, where they achieved the position of Valedictorian. Genna then pursued higher education at The University of Georgia from 2004 to 2008, earning dual Bachelor's degrees in Business and Journalism. Genna'scoursework focused on Business Management and Advertising. Additionally, in 2011, Genna Shelnutt obtained certification in Search Engine Optimization from Market Motive.
