Brian Mertens has a solid background in IT and healthcare. Brian started their career in 2012 as an IT Manager at MASH Urgent Care, where they worked until 2014. In 2015, Brian joined Buffalo Medical Group as an Interface / Applications Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting engine and application infrastructure in a complex healthcare environment. Brian has certifications as a Cloverleaf Developer, TCL Programmer, and Epic Bridges and Ambulatory. Brian successfully deployed and maintained complex interface networks in both Cloverleaf Integration Suite (CIS) and Epic Bridges during their time at Buffalo Medical Group.
Brian Mertens has obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Security Technology from Bryant & Stratton College. Additionally, they have pursued studies in Computer Security & Forensics, AAS at SUNY Broome.
