Maura McCune Corvington

Maura McCune Corvington is a distinguished horn player and educator with extensive experience in various musical institutions and orchestras. Currently, Ms. McCune Corvington serves as the 2nd Horn for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and as an Adjunct Instructor of Horn at the Eastman School of Music, where Maura teaches Applied Horn Lessons. Additionally, Ms. McCune Corvington is a Course Instructor for the Arts Leadership Program at Eastman, focusing on innovative teaching strategies for future music educators. Previous roles include Lecturer in Horn Studies at SUNY Geneseo, Instructor of Horn at the Eastman Community Music School, and various positions with orchestras such as the Houston Symphony and Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Ms. McCune Corvington holds a Master of Music in Horn Performance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance from the Eastman School of Music.
