Atsushi Usami

Atsushi Usami is the Executive Director at BUGWORKS Research. Atsushi was previously a Researcher at Mitsubishi Research Institute from April 2012 to October 2013. At Mitsubishi, they worked on projects for pharmaceutical, medical device and other manufacturing companies across a range of areas including technology strategy, new business development and mid-to-long term management planning. Atsushi also engaged in providing consulting services to government agencies in the fields of international standardization strategy and industry-academia collaboration.

Usami Atsushi has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of Tokyo and is certified by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as a pharmacist.
