Mehak Gupta

Mehak Gupta has been working in the field of research science since 2012. Mehak began their career as a DBT-JRF at the National Centre for Cell Science in Pune, where they worked on MAR binding proteins and established their role during TCR activation and under hypoxic conditions. In 2013, they became a UGC-SRF at the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine in Jammu, where they worked on exploiting the potential of natural/in-house generated synthetic compounds against NLRP3 inflammasome activated via soluble and fibrillar form of Amyloid beta and ATP (DAMPs). In 2019, they became a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Farcast Biosciences. Mehak then joined Biofusion Therapeutics in 2020 as a Research Scientist and is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at Bugworks Research Inc. since 2022.

Mehak Gupta completed their M.Sc. Biotechnology from the University of Jammu in 2011. Prior to that, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu from 2004 to 2006.
