Burkhard Boendel

Burkhard Boendel serves as the Head of Corporate Communications at Bühler Group since September 2014, focusing on positioning, branding, marketing, digital transformation, media relations, internal communication, CEO communication, and online media. Previously, Burkhard held the position of Corporate Communications Lecturer at HTW Chur from September 2014 to September 2016 and was the Head of Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, Marketing & Brands at Oerlikon from June 2006 to September 2014, where responsibilities included rebranding, corporate positioning, M&A, refinancing, and CEO communications. Prior experience includes ownership of Competitive Communications, Brodeur Kothes & Klewes from 1999 to 2006 and work as an editor at WirtschaftsWoche from 1995 to 1999. Burkhard holds a Master of Arts in Publizistik & Kommunikation from the University of Münster and has completed specialized training in crisis communications with the Swiss Army and executive programs at IMD and London Business School.
