Ahmed Eshra has gained extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and technology. Ahmed currently holds the position of Engineering Lead at Builder.ai, starting from 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Knowledge Officer from 2017 to 2022, where they served as the CTO & Co-Founder, leading the product solution design and development.
Before joining Knowledge Officer, Ahmed worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NaviBees from 2015 to 2017. Here, they focused on scaling the backend application and building systems for push notifications and venue control on interactive maps.
Ahmed also served as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they conducted research in database management systems and big data processing, with a focus on product development and its application in areas like social network analysis and election prediction.
Prior to that, Ahmed worked as a Software Engineer at KACST GIS Technology Innovation Center in 2015, where they collaborated with the research team to design an indoor navigation system and developed an iOS application for GISTIC building.
In 2014, Ahmed co-founded Fretsi and served as the Co-Founder - Technology. Ahmed played a crucial role in building a content curation platform that recommended technology, business, and product design articles to users.
During their undergraduate years, Ahmed began their technical journey as a Software Engineer at Sweety Heaven in 2012. Ahmed was the first employee of the company.
Lastly, they started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Wireless Stars in 2010, where they developed an SMS Gateway for the IntaFeen app, which was one of the first check-in apps in Egypt.

Ahmed Eshra obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Alexandria University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer and System Engineering from the same university, from 2008 to 2012.
