Ric Sirmans

Ric Sirmans has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Ric began their career as an Underwriter at Federated Insurance in 1995, where they worked until 2000. Following this, they joined Travelers as an Underwriting Manager, a role they held for 13 years. In 2013, Ric joined Builders Insurance Group as an Underwriting Manager and later became the Vice President of Underwriting in March 2022, where they currently remain.

Ric Sirmans pursued their education by attending The University of Georgia from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. After a brief break, they continued their academic journey at Georgia State University from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Risk Management & Insurance.
