Shawn Stinson has extensive experience in the insurance industry, starting with Federated Mutual Ins/ in 1995 as a Liability Claims Supervisor. Shawn then worked at Georgia Casualty as a Property and Liability Claims Supervisor from 2000 to 2002. Shawn joined American Safety Insurance in 2002 and held various roles, including Environmental Claims Manager, Claims Director, and Vice President - Claims. During their time at American Safety Insurance, Shawn achieved significant reductions in average indemnity and loss adjustment expenses, and they contributed to a successful claim system conversion. In 2013, they joined Houston International Insurance Group as a Director of Claims. Currently, Shawn serves as the Chief Claims Officer for Builders, where they began in 2017 and has since held the positions of Director of Claims and Sr. Vice President - Claims and Medical Management.
Shawn Stinson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia, where they studied from 1985 to 1987.
