Richard Kalasky

Richard Kalasky has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Richard is currently the VP of Architecture at Buildertrend since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Architecture and Senior Principal Architect at the same company. Richard also served as an Applications Development Architect and Senior Applications Developer at Buildertrend.

Before joining Buildertrend, Richard worked as a Software Engineer at Nebraska Global from May 2010 to August 2013. Richard also gained experience as a Software Engineer at ICORA for a brief period in 2011, where they contributed to the development of Mako XRM, an offline customization and modeling tool.

Richard's early career includes working as a developer for the Anatomic Pathology team at Epic from July 2009 to April 2010, and as a Human Factors Team Intern at Union Pacific Railroad in 2008. Richard started their professional journey as an IT Intern at Farm Credit Services of America in 2007, where they worked on various projects using VB.NET and the Microsoft stack.

Richard Kalasky attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Richard'sdegree focused on the fields of Computer Science, Business, and Mathematics. Additionally, Richard Kalasky holds a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional Web Developer in .NET 3.5, obtained from Microsoft.
