Shyam Rajan

Shyam Rajan is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as VP of Enterprise Architecture at UKG since June 2025, Shyam previously held the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Sunnova Energy, where leadership spanned multiple platforms including Snowflake, Infor ERP, and Salesforce.com. As a co-founder and COO of OpptyGo, Inc., Shyam led the development of a versatile enterprise application integrated with various business processes. Prior to that role, Shyam was Senior Director of IT at Sunrun, directing the customer software technology strategy that contributed to significant revenue growth and the company's IPO in 2015. Shyam's foundational experience includes serving as Principal at ZCloud Inc., overseeing enterprise application implementations. Shyam holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, both from the University of Madras.
