Larry Blair

Larry Blair is an accomplished technology and marketing professional with extensive experience in the software and telecommunications industries. As Chairman of the Board and former CEO of BuildFire Inc., Blair has played a pivotal role in developing a SaaS platform that empowers non-technical users to build mobile applications. In addition to leading BuildFire, Blair is the owner of Blair Ventures, LLC, providing strategic marketing consulting and private investment. Blair has also made significant contributions as an angel investor with Sand Hill Angels, previously owned a successful Indy Car race team, and held executive marketing positions at Redback Networks and Ipsilon Networks, both of which were acquired by major corporations. Blair co-founded Kalpana Inc., the inventor of the first Ethernet switch, and began a career at Eastman Kodak Company as a Senior Project Manager. Larry Blair holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
