Mike Duerksen

Mike Duerksen is the Founder and CEO of BuildGood, an organization dedicated to raising money for impactful causes through emotionally compelling communications. In addition to leading BuildGood, Mike hosts The Build Good Fundraising Podcast, offering practical strategies for nonprofit marketers and fundraisers. Prior experience includes serving as CEO of Generation Rising, where Mike oversaw leadership and revenue generation according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors. Earlier roles include Manager of Communications & Marketing at Siloam Mission, where Mike implemented communication strategies to enhance donor engagement and increase organizational visibility, and Gift In Kind Coordinator at Global Aid Network, contributing to humanitarian relief and development efforts.
